Why We Built This Site
We built this reference because El Paso County does not have one public page that answers every warrant question. The Sheriff's Warrant Search is useful for its own published records, but a missing result does not rule out a warrant held by a district, county, justice, or municipal court. Courts also keep separate case dockets and set the terms for clearing their own process. A missed municipal setting, an unpaid ticket, and a felony arrest warrant can point to different offices even when the person lives in the same city. State tools are limited too: DPS and OmniBase relate to reported failure-to-appear or failure-to-pay matters, rather than providing a universal active-warrant roster. The pages here map those distinctions to named local channels and tell readers when they need to ask a clerk or warrant unit directly.
What You Will Find Here
- Search routes: where to start a warrant search and how the Sheriff's public list differs from court records
- Current status: how to check active warrant information and why only the holding authority can confirm it
- Missed court dates: how bench warrants arise and which court holds them
- Criminal process: how arrest warrants reach magistrates and the court files that follow
- Local routes: city court contacts, traffic-citation distinctions, and the role of the Sheriff's office
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. We have no connection to any Texas court, sheriff's office, or state agency. There are real limits to what we can help with:
- We cannot run an official warrant check or confirm whether a warrant exists for anyone
- We cannot remove, recall, quash, or clear a warrant on any system
- We cannot post bond or accept any kind of payment toward a warrant
- We cannot arrange a surrender, a court date, or a warrant walk-through
- We cannot give legal advice or tell you how a specific warrant applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or warrant listing on this site is current right now
The issuing court can confirm its case and any recall or clearing action. The Sheriff can confirm the scope and status of its own warrant records. We can point to those channels, but a search of one list cannot certify that no warrant exists elsewhere.
Search Partners
The name-and-state search box opens the site's report-builder page and offers buttons that lead to a separate commercial search provider. The commercial service is not an El Paso County warrant database, and a result or marketing display is not an official court or Sheriff status. A referral relationship may apply when a visitor continues to a paid offer. Review the provider's terms and privacy notice before submitting information there.
